Forklift Operator - Tokoroa

Senior Forklift Driver with preferably 3 years experience but will consider any applicant with a minimum of 2 years on-job experience. Experience within a production operation is a pre-requisite with preference given to anyone with timber processing experience
Responsible for the control of the flow of materials to production and dispatch within our timber processing operation. This includes but is not limited to- Movement of product to and from our various production centres and to ensure this allows those areas to operate to maximum efficiency at all times
- Co-ordination of receipt and dispatch of incoming and outgoing goods
- Guidance to other forklift operators
- Completion of all appropriate documentation for receipt and dispatch of goods including where required export/import paperwork
Understanding and adherence at all times to all Health & Safety requirements including supervision as requested by onsite Health & Safety Managers
To meet the requirements of this role the successful application will need to- Have a current drivers license with an F Endorsement and OSH certificate
- Be able to work weekends as required and be rostered on either morning or afternoon shifts to meet the demands of our customers
- Have their own transport as we are rurally based within 45 minutes of Hamilton
Preference will be given to NZ Citizens, permanent resident's or people holding valid work visa's
