Cafe Manager & Event Organiser

Café Irresistiblue is looking for a charismatic leader to manage the day to day running of our orchard café and attract, plan and coordinate customer events.

1. 30am to 4.30pm

some evenings

Experience

All FOH duties: greet and seat; till/payment operations; barista skills; bar/cocktail knowledge; kitchen pass control; table service. Staff management and training. POS and booking system changing/updating. Event/function organising and managing.

Duty Manager or able to obtain

• Leadership and team management: train, motivate, mentor and foster a positive team culture
• Customer service excellence: friendly, patient, proactive, ensure customer satisfaction and able to handle customer queries and complaints effectively
• High standards of cleanliness, food quality and presentation
• Operational adaptability: ability to multitask in a fast paced environment, solve problems quickly (equipment failure, rushes or staff shortage)
• Communication skills: clear, consistent communication with staff regarding expectations, with guests, owners and suppliers
• Financial acumen and organisation: manage inventory, budgeting, cost control, cash handling, numeracy, pos/till programming, booking system
