Class 2 Driver and Furniture Movers

2x Class 2 Driver + Offsider(part time role) – Immediate Start.
Pacific Movers Limited is an accredited employer seeking a reliable and motivated team member with a strong work ethic to join our growing business. We are currently hiring an experienced Class 2 Driver and an Offsider for commercial and residential deliveries, including household removals.
The Class 2 Driver role is full-time, involving Auckland metro deliveries and occasional out-of-town work, ensuring furniture and household goods are transported safely and efficiently.- What You’ll Do:
- Drive and maintain a Class 2 truck, ensuring all deliveries and house moves are completed safely and on time
- Plan and manage daily delivery routes across Auckland (with occasional out-of-town trips)
- Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Load and unload furniture and household items with care
- Work closely with the team to ensure smooth operations
- Provide excellent customer service at delivery sites
- Assist with warehouse/loading operations when required
- What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 1 year of Class 2 driving experience (furniture/removals preferred)
- Full, clean Class 2 Driver Licence
- Strong knowledge of road safety and vehicle operation
- Ability to complete delivery paperwork, logs, and basic records
- Good organizational and basic computer skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently
- Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Reliable and punctual
- Strong team player with a good work ethic
- Requirements:
- NZ Resident/Citizen or valid work rights
- Must be able to pass basic checks if required
- Pay & Hours:
- $30 per hour (Drivers) | 40–50 hours per week Full-time, consistent work
- Offsider rate based on experience
- Occasional early starts and out-of-town jobs
- Work visa support may be considered for suitable candidates who meet the requirements set by Immigration New Zealand
