Furniture mover

You will be working from Monday to Sunday (as per roster) with minimum of 30 hours and maximum of 45 hours.

Job Responsibilities:

• Require lifting heavy objects repeatedly
• Assist in physical task loading and unloading furniture and belongings (residential and commercial) onto the truck
• Responsible to move furniture and items from one location to another, safely and without damaging it.
• Assist in wrapping the furniture in protective material and use caution while loading, unloading and driving it.
• Safely transport items to designated locations
• Require maintaining an inventory that tracks all the items that you are moving for a customer. It’s essential that this is as accurate as possible as doing so will ensure that we don’t misplace or forget anything during our move.
• Ensure timely and efficient completion of moving assignments.
• Maintain company vehicles and moving equipment in good condition.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members to coordinate logistics.

Job Requirements:

• Should have at least 1 year of Work experience in similar role or relevant industry
• Valid Class 2 driver’s licence or an equivalent international driving licence
• Knowledge of manual and automatic gear box
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy items safely.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Team player with the ability to work independently when required.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional in client interactions.
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment
• Follow safety protocols and comply with company policies.
• Zero Tolerance of alcohol and drugs in the workplace
• Clean Character Background

Salary can be negotiated as per your proven experience level; it will range from $28 to $34 per hour.
