We need experienced, dedicated, and qualified Fitter/Turners to primarily undertake all Machining/Turning and Fitting work to agreed, quality standards within required timeframes. People should be committed to quality and take pride in honing their craft.
The role will be based in Hamilton.
Your duties include:- Reading and interpreting plans, drawings, work samples, specifications, and work orders in accordance with work requirements
- Operate and use a variety of machining tools, manual and/or CNC as required.
- Preference will be given to NZ or AUS Fitter/Turner trade qualified applicants.
- Machining experience is essential, holding a minimum of 3 years’ proven relevant engineering experience in Fitter/Turner roles
- Have excellent attention to detail and good communication skills
- A get it done attitude and work within a great team of Kiwi’s
- We offer excellent working conditions, with 40 hours minimum of work offered plus regular overtime and rates to match.
- Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa
