We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Hospice Carer in Whangarei Central Northland. This is a casual role, providing flexible work arrangements to support our family in caring for our father in his end of life journey.
What you'll be doing
Providing personalised, compassionate care to our father in his home.
Assisting with activities of daily living, such as grooming, bathing, dressing, and meal preparation. Offering emotional support and companionship
What we're looking for
A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar caregiving role, preferably within a hospice or aged care setting
Demonstrated compassion, empathy, and a genuine desire to make a positive difference in the lives of others
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team
and on-treatment reviews
Acute management and inpatient oversight of patients on anti-cancer therapies
