Location: St Kevin’s Arcade, Karangahape Road, AucklandPosition: Full-Time Bar Manager / Duty Manager
Hours: 32–40 hours
Start: January 2026 (or immediate)
Pay: Based on experience
Certification: LCQ + Duty Manager Certificate preferred.
The Role
We are seeking a Bar Manager / Duty Manager with strong experience, a natural sense of leadership, and great energy to run Room 10’s operations.
If you love modern cocktails, tequila & mezcal culture, and creating memorable guest experiences, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day bar and lounge operationsMaintain and elevate service standards
Lead, train, and support bartenders and FOH team
Manage openings, closings, cash handling, and floor control
Ensure all alcohol-related compliance & Host Responsibility standards
Deep knowledge of our tequila, mezcal, and cocktail program
Assist in cocktail development and seasonal menu updates
Stock control, ordering, and bar organisation
Handle guest concerns and resolve issues professionally
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience as Bar Manager, Head Bartender or Duty ManagerStrong knowledge of modern mixology
Excellent communication and professional presence
Ability to lead small teams in a busy environment
High standards, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality
LCQ + Manager’s Certificate (preferred)
Interest in tequila & mezcal is a big plus
Someone excited to grow with a brand-new project
