  • Finance Business Partnering, you will play a critical role in ACC's finance business partnering model, applying strong commercial judgement and business insight to influence strategic and operational decisions across the organisation.

This role is focused on driving value-balancing financial performance, risk, and long'term sustainability.Partnering closely with the Strategic Finance Partner and the wider finance business partnering team, you will help develop and execute financial strategies for key business groups, ensuring investment decisions and resource allocation are aligned to ACC's strategic priorities and deliver clear commercial outcomes.You will translate complex financial and performance data into clear, decision'ready insights, enabling leaders to understand trade'offs, assess options, and act with confidence.

With a curious and commercially minded approach, you will proactively challenge assumptions, identify opportunities to improve efficiency and value for money, and support the business to make informed, future'focused decisions.Through strong collaboration and credible advice, you will help lift financial capability across the organisation while contributing to improved outcomes for New Zealanders.Key Responsibilities:Build and maintain key finance business partnering relationships with senior leaders across the organisation.Provide high-quality, multi-year financial advice and reporting to guide strategic decision-making.Influence financial planning and performance tracking, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.Offer expert advice on investment decisions, financial risks, opportunities, and post-investment evaluations.Lead end-to-end financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, capital planning, and balance sheet management.Collaborate with senior leadership to develop innovative financial solutions that drive business outcomes.Manage financial reporting and provide strategic insights to influence leadership decisions.Build financial capability and confidence within the business, driving a high-performance finance culture.This is a Wellington based role.The appointing salary range for this role is $135,000
  • $160,000 depending on skills and experience.

ACC also offers 9% superannuation on top of base salary.

About you | Mōu We're looking for: A tertiary qualification in accounting (CA or equivalent desirable) and 7+ years of relevant experience.Proven experience in finance business partnering and stakeholder management within complex organisations.Strong commercial acumen, analytical skills, and expertise in financial modelling, forecasting, and analysis.A collaborative, team-focused approach, with the ability to influence at senior leadership levels.Experience leading successful financial change initiatives and delivering strategic outcomes.A deep understanding of financial management processes and best practices.Employee networks to support our colleagues from diverse backgrounds.The option to explore flexible working that suits your needs and ours.This is your opportunity to help shape the financial future of ACC and make a tangible impact.
