Truck Drivers x 4 Wanted (Class 5 log truck driver )

Brar Holdings Ltd operates a Log carting business based in Mt Maunganui. We operate a modern fleet of Kenworth trucks (T659, T610 and K200). we are currently seeking drivers based closed to Tauranga area .

Log truck experience is preferred, however full training will be provided for a suitable applicant. A minimum of 30 hours per week with up to 70 hrs available.

The job entails –

Hold a current Class 5 Drivers Licence.

Have Class 5 driving experience (preferably with log trucks).

Conducting road worthiness and safety checks prior to each journey.

Are compliant of health & safety work practices.

Physically fit, honest and reliable

An early starter.

Have pride in their own presentation and the presentation of their allocated truck.

Must speak English confidently - clear verbal communication with dispatch and loader drivers throughout each day is vital to this role.

Can ensure the truck meets regular maintenance schedules.

Are drug & alcohol free.

Keeps accurate driver logs.

Follow correct work start times at forest.

Applicants for this position should have valid rights to legally work in NZ.
