We are currently looking for an Advanced Labourer for work in West Auckland with a major key client of ours who operates in the Civil space. **The successful candidate must hold a full Class 1 Drivers Licence.**
The purpose of this position is to plan/manage/undertake Stormwater & Wastewater network maintenance works on sites to contract specification and/or individual instruction.
Maintenance work strongly focuses on the following assets; pipes, catch-pits, manhole, channels, inlets/outlets and private assets where required.
Supporting Senior Drainlayers and other team members to carry out their works including site set up, material deliveries, arranging hire equipment and supporting in other areas where required.
You'll be working in a team environment with others who are also self-motivated and proactive.
Skills & experience- Previous experience as a labourer.
- An interest in storm water work, drainlaying, or plumbing, experience is a great advantage.
- You'll have the ability to work well in a team as well as unsupervised
- The work of course requires a bit of stamina, so you'll be physically fit.
- You'll need a clean criminal history and to keep safe on the job, you'll also be drug free.
- As the work is an immediate start, you'll need to already be eligible to work in New Zealand.
