**About the Business:**
Personnel Section provides Personnel and Human Resources Management services to Headquarters and to all Salvation Army Areas, Division and Regions in New Zealand, Fiji, Tonga and Samoa.
**About the Role:**
The Personnel Business Administrator is the Administration Coordinator and Advisor to the Territorial Secretary for Personnel and the section, giving due attention to its efficient operation. This role involves oversight of officer service information, and responsibility for business and financial matters related to the Officer Support team, and the wider Personnel Section.
**What will your responsibilities be:**- Ensure fortnightly Officer payroll and recon, and changes to officer payroll are processed accurately and efficiently.
- Analysis and reporting summary of monthly departmental financial statements on the Personnel Section to the Territorial Secretary for Personnel.
- Prepare monthly officer cost and lease vehicle reports for Financial Department.
- Preparation of all annual financial budget for the personnel department.
- Oversee the management of the officer Superannuation Fund.
- Maintain up to date statistics and other relevant date.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Good cross-cultural understanding.
- High level of problem -solving ability and initiative.

- Advance user MS Word and Excel skills.
- Ability to work within a team and independently.
- Self-driven with strong initiative and problem-solving skills.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.

This role is **permanent/full time** and **hours worked will be 37.5 per week.**
The starting salary for this role will fall **between $76,500 and $90,000.**
