We are seeking a superstar Duty Manager to join our team. We have a full time position available. This is a perfect opportunity for any candidate with prior food & beverage and/or admin experience. This is a flexible role that will work across departments.The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal skills and must work well in a team environment.
Responsibilities:- Collaborating with the reception, food & beverage and kitchen team to ensure seamless service.
- Handling guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests promptly and professionally.
- Uphold the hotel and restaurant's policies and procedures.
- Follow the supply of Alcohol Act.
- Provide excellent customer service by welcoming guests, taking orders, and ensuring an enjoyable experience at WQ.
- Flexibility to workdays and nights, according to the seasonal demands of the operation.
- Prior experience in Food & Beverage and admin
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent administrative skills
- Use of Posbiz and Opera Cloud an advantage
- A current Duty Manager's Certificate or the ability to get one
- NZ resident or applicable Visa
