Bayes Group is a family-run transport business with decades of experience and a solid reputation across New Zealand. We operate school runs, private charters, and luxury tours around the country.

We're on the lookout for an organised, proactive, and people-focused Operations Manager to join our team at Bayes Coachlines.

Based at our Dairy Flat office, you'll be the driving force behind the smooth day-to-day running of our school bus services, charter operations, and office coordination.

• Overseeing daily bus scheduling for school runs and charters
• Monitoring services to ensure they're on time, safe, and meeting performance standards
• Liaising with schools, clients, and drivers on operational and behavioural matters
• Preparing timely quotes for school and charter bookings
• Managing incidents, health & safety, and customer complaints
• Maintaining accurate route information and service records
• Coordinating with Auckland Transport and local councils on road maintenance issues
• Occasionally stepping in to drive school runs or charters when needed

• Strong organisational and communication skills
• A cool head under pressure with great problem-solving abilities
• Experience in transport operations (or a related field) preferred
• Ability to build great relationships with schools, customers, and drivers
• First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
