- thinking Portfolio Manager to join our team
- someone who brings both strategic oversight and hands-on expertise, ensuring the NZIC has access to critical services, capabilities, and infrastructure.What you'll doLead our non-technology portfolios and categories, driving business benefits and meeting strategic priorities.
You will deliver results that keep the agencies safe through great planning and a partnership approach to everything you do.
Working in a tight knit team, you will lead, support and grow the team's capability to deliver activities and outcomes within your portfolios and categories, in particular supporting more junior members of the team.You will use your skills and knowledge to develop and implement: Portfolio and category development, business continuity, benefits, and performance plans.
Supplier/stakeholder relationship management strategies and plans.Procurement solutions, with varying levels of complexity, that protect the agencies and support business outcomes.
Contracts and contract management plans ideally through your drafting experience across a varying range of contract types.
Cost savings, value delivery, and supplier innovation activities.
Strategic commercial capability improvements.What we're looking forYou must be able to bring: Experience in commercial or equivalent roles with at least 2 years operating at a senior level.
Excellent relationship, written and persuasive skills with the ability to collaborate to deliver results, focused on meeting the needs of our customers and stakeholders.
An aptitude to bring people with you in order to deliver activities and changes successfully.
Creativity and insight, to overcome complex challenges and drive improvement.
Excellent planning and organisational skills, with the capability to prioritise and work under pressure.Ideally you will also be able to bring: Property and infrastructure procurement experience, or experience in other non-technology focused portfolios and categories.
