About the Role: As a Fire Alarm Technician, you’ll be responsible for all facets of the trade—from installations to maintenance and repairs. This is a dynamic role suited to someone adaptable, motivated, and eager to expand their skills.
Please note: This position is based in Dunedin, NZ, and applicants must be willing to work in this location.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, test, and inspect fire alarm systems
- Investigate and respond to alarm activation's
- Repair or replace system components as needed
- Perform routine maintenance and corrective services
- Program, calibrate, and adjust fire safety systems
- Keep accurate records and complete detailed reports
- Stay current with industry standards and regulations
- Ensure full compliance with safety protocols
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace
What We’re Looking For:
- Level 4 Fire Alarm Technician Qualification preferred (Serious consideration will be given to experienced candidates, with support available to gain the necessary qualifications)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- A proactive approach and willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Valid driver’s license
