Support Worker

This role is fixed-term contract, with the possibility of becoming a permanent casual employee. Extra hours will be required in the school holidays.
- Starting as soon as possible for training, then starting week of the 16th of February and ending Friday 21st May. Days are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday 3pm to 6pm and Wednesday 2.30pm to 6pm. Total of 15.5 hours per week.
- We are after someone who can connect and build a rapport with the client. Someone who has an energetic and outgoing attitude, with a sense of humour. If you enjoy playing board games, a like for Lego, Disney and Rubik’s cube then this job is for you. Working with the clients routine and structure is very important. Possible activities could include playing games, going for walks, supporting the client to cook and do basic housework.
- Must be comfortable with dogs.
- Experience with Autism is a bonus.
- You will need to pass a police check, including working with the vulnerable.
