As a Senior SMO Recruitment Advisor, you will provide strategic and operational recruitment guidance, advice, and support to people leaders. You will be responsible for delivering candidate-centric recruitment services, ensuring a seamless experience for both candidates and hiring managers.

If you are resilient and eager to shape a new organisational culture that promotes innovation, inclusivity, and excellence, and have a passion for being directly involved in initiatives aimed at improving the healthcare system, then this role is for you.Key Responsibilities:Responsible for the full recruitment process of all Senior Medical Officers from sourcing to OfferTo work closely with clinicians to understand the vacancies you are recruiting to.Deliver recruitment services that align with workforce strategiesProvide advice on sourcing and candidate attraction strategiesCoach hiring managers on best practices in recruitment and assessment methods.Ensure timely communication and support for candidates throughout the recruitment process.Participate in health sector employment initiatives and recruitment events.Proven ability to engage effectively in face-to-face communication across a wide range of stakeholders.Experience using social media platforms as a strategic tool for recruitment and employer branding.

About You: To succeed in this role, you will have:A tertiary qualification in a relevant field and/or equivalent experience in a senior recruitment or talent role.Five years of relevant experience in an advisory position in recruitmentKnowledge of NZ legislation and its application in a large, complex organisation.Experience working in the public health sector is preferred.Strong relationship management skills with both internal and external stakeholders.A commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
