About the RoleThe Regional Change Manager is an important strategic position that is responsible for facilitating change management activities across the northern region to ensure the successful delivery of organisational design, structural change initiatives and business/process improvement changes.The Regional Change Manager will be analysing, advising, supporting change planning, implementation, and evaluation of change processes and strategies, facilitating a collaborative approach to change across the region and building ownership and capability in change leadership within the region and districts.About you8-10 yrs experience in a people related change management role, in a large and complex operating environment.A relevant graduate qualification in business, psychology, HR OD or related field.Has an advanced knowledge of change management techniques required for large-scale, complex transformational change.

Has a proven ability to work with senior leadership to coordinate and successfully implement time-sensitive change, on-scale, in a political environment. Demonstrated ability to see the big picture and understand the strategic political context of the health reform change agenda.
Must therefore be familiar and comfortable with leading a change programme where a high degree of ambiguity and uncertainty exists.Strong interpersonal, relationship management and influencing skills are a necessity, along with senior leadership level experience and responsibility for managing people, budgets, forecasting, and cost management.Excellent communication skills to articulate the reason for change and the benefits it will bring.

This includes ability to influence others and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels.Knowledge of business process improvement techniques, to provide insight into how processes can be optimized in line with the change strategy.Solid understanding of how people go through change and resistance to change.Adept at project management, planning and organising, and problem-solving.Experience in giving meaningful effect to the expectations outlined in Te Tiriti o Waitangi in their position at a leadership level.Working at Health New ZealandHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
