About the role |'Mō'te'tūranga'mahi' Hāpai'supports'kiritaki'who have experienced accidentrelated injuries by helping them access the right support, at the right time, in ways that reflect their circumstances and needs.

The service draws on'kaupapa'Māori principles such as'manaakitanga, whanaungatanga, and'kotahitanga, alongside broader best practice, to support positive recovery outcomes.' As a'Team Leader -'Kaihāpai'Recovery Coordinators,'you'll'lead a team who walk alongside'kiritaki'and their whānau through their recovery journey.
Your role is to set direction, provide support, and create a safe and supportive environment where your team can do meaningful work.' You'll'lead in a way that upholds'mana'for'kiritaki, whānau, and your team and'you'll'support your team to work respectfully with people from a wide range of backgrounds, including Māori.

This includes encouraging culturally responsive practice, reflective learning, and a focus on what matters most to each person.' Key responsibilities |'Ngā'Haepapa'Mahi' Lead and support a team of'Kaihāpai'Recovery Coordinators to deliver thoughtful, personcentred recovery support' Set clear expectations and support your team through coaching, feedback, and shared learning' Promote ways of working grounded in'manaakitanga'and'whanaungatanga, supporting respectful and trusting relationships with'kiritaki'and whānau' Ensure recovery plans are practical, tailored, and responsive to individual needs' Support the growth and development of your team, including building confidence in culturally responsive practice' Foster a team culture built on'kotahitanga, where people work together, share responsibility, and support one another' Bring the team together regularly to reflect on what's working, address challenges, and acknowledge achievements' ' About you |'Mōu' You're'a people leader who leads with empathy, fairness, and purpose.

You value relationships and understand the importance of trust when supporting people through complex situations.'
