Role:
The role is for a seasoned Construction Manager to step into a key leadership position. This is a company with serious capability - Tier 1 firepower, systems, and project scale - but they operate with the heart and culture of a tight-knit, family feel business.
You'll be overseeing a skilled team, including multiple Project Managers, Surveyors and on-the ground crews, supported by solid office and operational staff who understand what it takes to deliver at a high level. They don't cut corners when it comes to supporting their people, offering the right tools, structure, and work-life balance to ensure long-term success.If you've got a strong track record managing subdivisions, bulk earthworks, and infrastructure builds, and bonus points if you bring experience with survey gear like Trimble or Topcon. What we are looking for:
- Take full ownership of contract management, ensuring precise cost control, accurate estimating, and seamless tendering.
- Lead the scheduling of subcontractors, resources, and equipment to drive efficient, on-time project delivery.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams to keep projects aligned and on track.
- Oversee critical site operations, including survey work and setout using Trimble or Topcon systems.
- Apply a proactive, solution-oriented approach with a strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
