Job Description: ?As a cadet you will embark on a comprehensive training program to master the following skills for the three main fields in concrete production from our seasoned experts.

BATCHING:
Modern concrete manufacturing relies heavily on computer systems to precisely batch ingredients and ensure consistent quality. ?Using advanced software interfaces like Dorner systems, technicians input mix designs, adjust parameters, and monitor batching sequences.
?This high-tech approach minimises human error and maximises efficiency, resulting in accurately proportioned concrete mixes tailored to project requirements.
CONCRETE TECHNICIAN:
Concrete technicians play a crucial role in overseeing the entire manufacturing process. ?They are responsible for quality control, conducting tests to assess properties such as strength, durability, and workability. ?With a keen eye for details and a deep understanding of concrete chemistry, technicians ensure that each batch meets industry standards and project specifications.
?They work closely with batching systems, analysing data to optimise performance and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
PLANT MAINTENANCE AND OPTIMISATION:
Maintaining concrete manufacturing plants is essential for ensuring smooth operations and prolonging equipment lifespan. ?Plant maintenance involves routine inspections, repairs, and preventive measures to address wear and tear, mechanical failures, and safety hazards.
?Technicians oversee maintenance tasks, utilising their technical expertise to diagnose problems and implement solutions promptly. ?By prioritiising plant optimisation and efficiency, they minimise downtime, reduce costs, and uphold workplace safety standards.
HEAVY VEHICLE LICENSE OPPORTUNITIES:
