About the role
This role will:
- be responsible for the day-to-day co-ordinated direction, assignment and organisation of clinical bookings for General and Surgical Outpatient Services
- distribute booking administrator duties and manage day-to-day direction, assignment and organisation of administrative support services for clinical staff to ensure efficient service delivery
- be a point of contact for management and associated teams to provide optimal service
- plan, implement, staff and provide technical support and training to administration team members to best practice standards
- hold a delegated budget for office equipment and authorise expenses.

About you
We are looking for an experienced administrator with excellent communication skills to carry out varied administrative duties to support the wider team, and ensure our department runs smoothly.
Ideally you will bring the following skills and experience:
- At least three to five years previous experience in a busy administration role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to work independently as well as leading a successful team
- Excellent planning and organisational skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Respectful nature handling confidential and sensitive information in a professional manner
