Nightshift Team Leader - Small Goods Butchery

Role Overview: As a Team Leader in our small goods butchery based in Dunedin, you will be responsible for providing operational support to your team on the floor to meet daily production requirements, as well as observing and monitoring quality and safety compliance.

Work Schedule: Sunday to Thursday
Monday to Thursday: 8pm to 5am

Sunday: 2.30pm to 12.30am

What you will be doing: Preparing, cutting, and packaging a variety of fresh meats to meet customer orders.

Organising daily production requirements in conjunction with your manager and clearly communicating this with your team.
Maintaining a clean, organised, and well-stocked butchery area.

Ensuring all food safety and hygiene standards are upheld.

What we are looking for: Demonstrate strong leadership qualities and relevant experience.

Strong knowledge of meat cuts, preparation, and presentation.
Excellent customer service skills and a passion for delivering high-quality products.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Attention to detail and a commitment to food safety.

Legal right to work in New Zealand.
