About the Role

Your position works across wards within the organisation and in some of the community settings (District Nursing, Supportive Discharge Services). You may be required to undertake duties in other areas of the organisation which promote the efficient and effective operation of Te Whatu Ora - Whanganui which reasonably fall within the general parameters of this position.

About the Team/Service/ Location

Members of the Workforce Unit (NRU) provide clinical cover to all area within the Whanganui Hospital setting including our community setting (district nursing and Supportive discharge service).

Located in the heart of Whanganui, our hospital serves a diverse and supportive community, offering a unique blend of professional development and lifestyle. About you
  • Be an approved practicing Registered Nurse endorsed by the Nursing Council of New Zealand.
  • Works according to the role of a Registered Nurse described by the Nursing Council of New Zealand.
  • Has NZ drivers licence and is comfortable to drive locally and rurally.
  • Current Practicing Certificate.
  • Computer literacy and experience working with/understanding of MS Word, Excel, Outlook and clinical portal.
