We are looking for a dynamic and driven Sales & Business Development Manager to join our growing organization and take our sales strategy to the next level. You will lead market expansion, grow key accounts and drive revenue across New Zealand.

The role

Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for delivering growth. You will work collectively with the regions, identifying new market opportunities, acquiring new clients and nurturing existing relationships.

Key responsibilities
  • Generate leads and work with our Regional Managers to convert opportunities into long-term clients
  • Maintain and grow relationships with key clients, contractors and developers
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities and markets in line with company goals
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, market conditions and competitor activity
  • Collaborate with operations to align growth initiatives
  • Analyse customer feedback and client fulfilment to identify company performance strengths and improvement opportunities
  • Report to senior leadership on sales performance, market insights and opportunities
What we are looking for
  • Proven success in a senior sales, business development or account management role ideally in the construction industry
  • Strong understanding of the New Zealand construction market and key players
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive, self motivated approach
  • Willing and able to travel nationally as required
