An experienced shepherd/general is required for a hill country property running 13,500 su on 1471 ha, 30 km east of Taihape on the Napier/Taihape Road.
The farm is very well set up with good subdivision, tracks, lanes, watersupply, excellent stock handling facilities including satellite yards, all well maintained. All grass wintering, no supplementary feeding. Reasonable hours (average 40 hour week). Competitive pay rate.
A three bedroom lockward house is provided. 25.8 km from Taihape town and 7km from the local primary school.
Successful applicant will need:- Good work ethic and be reliable
- Good stockmanship
- Team of good working dogs
- Basic fencing skills and familiar with water reticulation
- Capable on handpiece (permanent hectons)
