About the role
This full-time, permanent position is primarily focused on general warehouse operations, with some responsibility for supporting basic laser machine tasks. Hours of work are Monday to Friday 6am-2:30pm.
Key Responsibilities- Pick, pack, and prepare stainless and aluminium plate orders for dispatch
- Load and unload trucks, plate, and sheet material using forklifts or gantry cranes
- Perform product identification and heat number transfers
- Maintain accurate stock records and assist with regular stocktakes
- Organise daily consumables and support production teams as needed
- Keep the warehouse clean, safe, and well organised
- Learn and support basic laser machine setup and operation (full training provided)
- Previous experience in a warehouse, dispatch, or store person role
- Forklift licence and/or gantry crane experience (preferred, or willing to obtain)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
- Full Class 1 driver’s licence and reliable transport
- Basic computer literacy
