Are you a culinary boss with creativity, leadership, and hustle?

Bad Habits, a bold and buzzing bar in Paihia, is on the hunt for a Head Chef to lead our kitchen with flair, passion, and precision.

POSITION: HEAD CHEF
Location: Bad Habits, Paihia
Wage: $28–$34 per hour (depending on experience)
Hours: Minimum 30 hrs/week | Up to 55 hrs/week
Experience Required: Minimum 2 years

Positions Available: 1

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and inspire the kitchen team to deliver high-quality dishes with consistency
Plan, create and execute seasonal menus and daily specials
Manage inventory, ordering, and supplier relationships
Maintain a clean, compliant, and efficient kitchen environment
Ensure food safety, hygiene, and H&S standards are always met
Mentor junior staff and support kitchen training & development
Work closely with management to drive creativity and profitability
