Are you a passionate and experienced Social Worker eager to make a real difference in the lives of young people? Kapiti College is seeking a dedicated Social Worker to join our supportive whanau on a part-time, fixed-term basis (18 months) of 18 hours per week.

At Kapiti College, we take pride in being an inclusive and nurturing kura. Our mahi is deeply rooted in the Parihaka values of peace, resilience, and community, which guide our commitment to the well-being of every student. We foster a collegial environment where both staff and students are genuinely cared for and valued.

As our Social Worker, you'll play a vital role in upholding these values, fostering a strong sense of belonging and empowering our rangatahi. You'll provide essential social and emotional support to students, working collaboratively with their whanau and our dedicated staff.

Your work will involve individual and group support, developing tailored well-being plans, and acting as a strong advocate for our students' needs.

If you are a qualified and registered Social Worker with proven experience, possess excellent communication skills, and approach your mahi with a non-judgmental and empathetic style, we encourage you to apply. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a school that truly invests in its people and community.
