Location:Tauranga, Bay of Plenty, New Zealand
Pay Rate:$28 – $34 per hour
Hours of Work:30 – 40 hours per week
Key Requirements- Minimum 2 years’ experience or Level 4 Qualification.
- Supervise daily orchard tasks including pruning, thinning, canopy work, and vine training.
- Monitor plant and vine health, pest/disease risks, irrigation, and crop load.
- Allocate daily tasks to workers and monitor output and work quality.
- Train staff in safe horticultural practices and orchard techniques.
- Support planning and execution of seasonal orchard programmes.
- Ensure compliance with orchard health & safety standards.
- Oversee safe use, storage, and maintenance of orchard tools and machinery.
- Maintain daily logs, orchard records, and productivity reports.
- Conduct quality checks to protect fruit grade and orchard performance.
- Report orchard progress, challenges, and resource needs to management.
