  • Inspiring culture change - Coaching, guiding, and encouraging teams to see safety as part of how they care for each other.
  • Supporting wellbeing - Driving initiatives that promote both physical and mental wellbeing, so teams feel truly supported.
  • Practical impact - Giving leaders and staff the confidence, tools, and know how to keep themselves and others safe every day.
  • Learning and improving - Turning insights into action, making sure the organisation is always moving forward.

About You

This role will suit someone who thrives on connection, influence, and making a real difference. You'll bring:

  • A recognised Health & Safety qualification.
  • Experience leading health and safety in a people centred, regulated environment (aged care, healthcare, or similar).
  • Strong knowledge of NZ H&S legislation, and the skill to turn compliance into meaningful, human focused action.
  • The confidence to work at both strategic and hands on levels.
  • Warmth, empathy and the ability to build trust and inspire change at every level of the organisation.
  • Based in either Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch

  • The closeness to feel valued
