The Role:
Oversee a spray dryer to create milk powder from milk.
Key Duties Include:
- Operating and monitoring modern powder plant equipment and systems.
- Achieving productivity and waste reduction targets
- Managing effluent and air discharges in compliance with operational and environmental guidelines.
- Performing milk and product sampling, calibration, and quality control tasks aligned with HACCP and food safety standards.
- Supporting Quality and Health & Safety systems through timely documentation and compliance with audit requirements.
- Leading or coordinating tasks within your team and actively contributing to a collaborative workplace culture.

Days/Hours:
- 4 days on, 4 days off - 12-hour shifts.
- 2 days, 2 nights.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in dairy processing or food manufacturing is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of food safety, quality control, and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to work within a shift roster, troubleshoot systems, and support continuous improvement.
- Team-oriented with a hands-on ability to troubleshoot problems.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Food Technology, AgriScience, Engineering, or a related field are advantageous.
