Support Workers wanted for homebased work in Field

Seeking L2, 3, or 4 NZQA Health and Wellbeing support workers

Care on Call are looking for superstar support workers for a client in the Feilding area.

Shifts available are in the mornings and evenings.

This person has a spinal cord injury and requires full support with day-to-day tasks. Training will be provided. He is a sociable gentleman, a keen fisherman and a lover of rugby.

There are some dietary requirements in the home, but family are happy to provide meals to support workers while on shift if they would like.

We are looking for support workers who:

• Are respectful and have experience with caring for those with spinal cord injuries or other complex needs.
• Have a full licence and comfortable driving a mobility van.
• Are reliable and able to commit to shifts long-term.
• Work well in a busy environment and able to work with others
• Are friendly and show initiative

To be considered a great fit with Care on Call you need to:

• have a Level 2, 3, 4 (Health and Wellbeing - homecare) and/or with current experience caring for and supporting clients with high needs.
• be genuinely compassionate, caring, professional and
• willing to support others in their home
• have a full or restricted NZ driver licence and easy access to a vehicle
