We are looking for a responsible and motivated Duty Manager to join our team. The Duty Manager will oversee the daily operations of the café and bar, ensure compliance with the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act, and deliver excellent customer service.
Supervise, train, and support staff during shifts.
Handle customer queries, complaints, and difficult situations professionally.
Manage cash handling and end-of-day reporting.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work evenings and weekends as required.
This role requires someone who can lead a team, handle busy service periods, and maintain a safe and welcoming environment for both staff and customers.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee day-to-day café and bar operations.
Ensure all liquor licensing laws and health & safety regulations are followed.Supervise, train, and support staff during shifts.
Handle customer queries, complaints, and difficult situations professionally.
Manage cash handling and end-of-day reporting.
Maintain high standards of service, cleanliness, and presentation.
Requirements: Current LCQ & Manager’s Certificate (Duty Manager Licence).
Previous experience in hospitality, preferably in a supervisory role.Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work evenings and weekends as required.
Positive attitude and passion for great customer service.
