Site Coordination Operator - Christchurch

The Opportunity:

With upskilling and training on offer this is a great role that will see you in a hands-on role leading from the front and across anything from equipment to health and safety. perhaps you're an operator or labourer with good admin and health and safety smarts and want to step into a role that's less physical.

• Preparing crushing plant equipment for operations
• Carryout prestart checks and ongoing Maintenance audits to guarantee safety and reliability.
• Communicating with other users on site and able to document and record information as required.
• Service and look after equipment before and when maintenance is due to ensure correct serviceability.
• General labouring from time to time.
• Lead health and safety toolbox talks as well as record relevant documents.
• Update hazard registers and correct compliance with the assistance of senior staff

Your Profile.

• Experience in a similar role ether from a labouring or operator background or with a background as supervising within operations.
• Has experience in high level admin and coordination with exposure to Health and safety or able to pick things up fast.
• Strong communicator able to speak up talk on a radio clearly and effectively.
• Mechanical aptitude or an interest in machinery is desired but not required.
