Building Construction Supervisor

Work Days: Monday to Friday (Occasional Saturdays may be required)

Greentech Industries Limited is a specialist construction company operating primarily in the commercial agricultural sector. We construct high-quality agricultural infrastructure including Cravos, sheds, and other commercial facilities. Our projects are tailored to meet the needs of modern farming and horticultural operations across the Canterbury region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist Construction Managers, Architects, and Surveyors with planning and coordination of projects
• Interpret plans, regulations, and codes of practice relevant to agricultural and commercial construction
• Prepare and revise technical sketches, working drawings, and construction specifications
• Coordinate material deliveries, human resources, and construction programs
• Inspect work sites and construction materials to ensure compliance with specifications and safety standards
• Perform cost calculations and assist with time estimations for construction activities
• Supervise and organise site teams during various phases of commercial and agricultural projects
• Use surveying tools to collect site data and perform routine plotting and data interpretation

Skills and Experience Required:

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in commercial/agricultural construction; or
• A New Zealand Register Level 4 (or higher) qualification in a construction or building-related field

Desirable Attributes:

• Ability to interpret technical drawings and building plans
• Strong coordination and communication skills
• Experience working in outdoor and agricultural environments
• Good knowledge of building compliance, health and safety, and construction standards
