You can find more about ACC and the work we do here.' Mō te tūranga mahi | About the role We are looking for a permanent Junior Salesforce Engineer who is either starting or has just started their Apex or Lightning Web Components (LWC) journey in Salesforce to join our team at ACC.

Our strong preference is for you to be located in Wellington however we are open to other areas of New Zealand for the right candidate.
As a Junior Salesforce Platform Engineer, you will be part of an internal Salesforce team tasked with delivering changes to our existing salesforces orgs.
You will form part of the team focused on establishing a sustainable Salesforce Platform operating governance and delivery models which will deliver value whilst maintaining operational efficiency.

Our Salesforce environment is a complex platform with multiple clouds using more than one Salesforce product including Lightning Platform, Service Cloud, Health Cloud, Experience Cloud, Public Sector Solutions, Marketing Cloud and Omnistudio.

You will have the opportunity to work on a complex and growing platform with multiple apps and tools.
Delivering transparent, integrated, and fit-for-purpose change continuously across ACC.

Mōu | About you University graduate or equivalent working experienceAble to demonstrate a basic working knowledge of the core Salesforce productsA working knowledge in custom development using Apex, Outbound messages, SOAP, REST API, external services, and Lightning Web ComponentsBasic knowledge of the Object Orientated Programming conceptProficiency in at least one coding language such as JavaAn understanding of modern development techniques and DevOps frameworks such as Flow, Unit testing and CI/CD pipelineBe a strong communicator and problem solver in a fast paced ever changing environmentAttention to details; be responsible and accountable to the work assignedEnjoy working in a cross-functional team environment, collaborating with other team members to solve problems and deliver quality productsHave a genuine passion for Salesforce capabilities and a passion for learning the Salesforce platformNgā Kawatau Mahi | Job Expectations' Contribute to the requirements gathering, design, development, implementation and maintenance on the Salesforce platform.Adopt best practices in code health, unit testing and maintainability with support and guidance from team members and leadsTo view a full position description, please click here.
