Junior Data Engineer

Join our client's innovative team as a Junior Data Engineer to enhance their data systems and processes.

What you'll be doing:

• Help design and develop data processes and ETL procedures.
• Work with design and extension of data marts, meta data, and data models.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities.
• Ensure data warehouse architecture codes are maintained in a version control system

Key Capabilities:

• Work in an Agile environment and foster a positive team culture.
• Share knowledge and provide constructive feedback.
• Uphold professionalism and adhere to policies.

Skills and Experience:

• 2+ years in a Data Engineering type role
• T-SQL, ETL/ELT development, and Python scripting skills.
• Use data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau).
• Experience with Cloud environments like AWS (Azure or Google more than welcome).
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing deadlines.
• Experience with Snowflake, DBT, Prefect (Airflow), and Github Actions
