Duty Manager - Part Time
Our busy Birkenhead supermarket is seeking a Duty Manager to join our busy and successful team.
Part Time role - Friday and Saturday 1:00pm to 10:00pm. For the right candidate the hours on the Friday could be 4:00pm to 10:00pm. There may also be the opportunity in the future for more shifts.
We seek someone experienced in the supermarket industry, ideally in a supervisory or management role. However good people supervisory or leadership experience would be a great advantage.
If you are ready to lead the team and run the store in the absence of the Owner/Operator and Department Managers, then this may be the role for you.
You will need to be:- Customer driven
- A great team leader who has the proven ability to lead by example
- Reliable and trustworthy
- Ready for a busy role
Duty Managers are responsible for ensuring that our store consistently offers a fresh and appealing shopping experience for all our customers and the smooth running of the store as well as ensuring all legislative requirements (food safety, health & safety, price integrity, sale of alcohol) are met.
You will be responsible for ensuring that the store appearance, security, service and productivity is maintained at all times.
