This is an exciting opportunity to help shape our Agile journey from the ground up.
We're at the start of our transformation, so we need someone who can roll up their sleeves and lead by example, while bringing people along for the ride.You'll support multiple product and service teams to deliver incremental business value, coach stakeholders on Agile principles, and champion continuous improvement.
This role is about doing the doing—facilitating Scrum events, removing impediments, and enabling teams to become high-performing and self-organising—while driving a significant uplift in Agile maturity across the organisation.The role will support multiple delivery squads, a variety of business stakeholders and a busy programme of work.Mōu | About you You're an experienced Scrum Master who thrives in environments where change is just beginning.
You're practical, hands-on, and know how to influence and inspire others.
You can balance delivery momentum with coaching and mentoring, helping teams and leaders understand Agile values and embed new ways of working.
You will be highly collaborative and will demonstrate exemplar ways of working that delivery teams can role model from.
You will adjust to the level that each delivery team is at, which mean you may need to lean in more to set up and run boards and ceremonies, or step back as appropriate as maturity grows.You'll also bring:Proven experience leading Agile delivery and organisational maturity uplift.Strong facilitation and communication skills to engage at all levels.Ability to break down complexity and create clarity for teams and stakeholders.A collaborative, inclusive approach that builds trust and psychological safety.Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experienceMinimum 5 years as a Scrum Master in a multi-team environment.Experience driving Agile transformation and embedding practices at scale.Deep understanding of Scrum, SAFe, and other Agile frameworks.Skilled in Azure DevOps and backlog management.Certified Scrum Master and SAFe Agilist (advanced Agile certification desirable).Excellent stakeholder engagement and coaching capability.Utu ā-tau | SalaryThe midpoint of the salary range is $155,285 per annum and the full range (85%-120%) is $131,993
