Mō te tūnga | About the roleWe're looking for an IT Programme Coordinator to join our Infrastructure & Digital Assets team at Ara Poutama Aotearoa, Department of Corrections.
This role is pivotal in supporting programme and project delivery across a range of digital initiatives.
You'll work closely with Programme and Project Managers to keep plans, reports, and financials on track, while ensuring smooth coordination of meetings, workshops, and governance processes.What makes this role exciting?

You'll report directly to the Corporate Systems Manager, providing essential support to ensure our programmes run efficiently and effectively.

You will be pivotal in supporting the delivery and smooth running of a large portfolio of work, and supporting our teams, stakeholders and external vendors to deliver.Mōu | About you You're naturally curious, proactive, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

You have excellent writing skills, including the ability to produce clear, concise documentation and take accurate minutes.
You are an organising whizz, and can support project teams with enuring timelines are kept to.
Detail matters to you, and you're confident juggling multiple priorities while keeping stakeholders informed.
You like to present information in a range of ways that work for stakeholders, and can quickly create presentations, documents, or reports.
You also are good with finances, and can take ownership of maintaining financial reporting.You'll also bring:Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines.A collaborative approach and willingness to learn.A knack for problem-solving and finding practical solutions.Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experiencePrevious experience in a Project Coordination role is an advantage.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including minute-taking.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project and Visio.Experience with Azure Devops or Similar is an advantageExperience with SAP or similar financial systems is an advantage.Knowledge of PRINCE2 or similar project methodologies.Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.Ngā painga | The benefits OR Utu ā-tau | SalaryThe midpoint of the salary range is $93,688 per annum and the full range (85%-120%) is $79,635
