Prime Property is a multi-disciplined property organisation managing a diverse portfolio including commercial offices, residential buildings, hotels, car parks, and retail properties. We are looking for a skilled Painter to join our Residential Maintenance Team to help maintain and enhance our residential portfolio.

About the Role

This role involves carrying out painting, plastering, and decorating work across residential buildings, including vacant units, common areas, and other building spaces. You will work alongside our maintenance team to ensure all work is completed to a high standard, on time, and safely.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in quality workmanship and enjoys working as part of a collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Painting and decorating vacant rooms, apartments, and common areas
  • Surface preparation including patching and plastering
  • Maintaining walls, woodwork, furniture, and fixtures
  • Ensuring correct paints, materials, and waterproofing systems are used
  • Preparing job sites with the correct tools and equipment
  • Managing paint and materials stock and procurement
  • Cleaning and maintaining tools and equipment
  • Identifying defects and completing touch-ups as required
  • Following all Health & Safety procedures and using PPE
  • Supporting the wider maintenance team with related tasks when required
What We’re Looking For
  • Minimum 2+ years’ experience in painting and decorating
  • Experience with plastering and wall preparation
  • Knowledge of waterproofing paints and systems
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
  • Good organisational skills and ability to plan work effectively
  • Proactive, solution-focused mindset
  • Understanding of health & safety practices on site
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
