We are seeking reliable, committed, dedicated and hardworking Caregivers to join our supportive team. We provide rest home and hospital level care.

Guaranteed 32 hours per week - Resource Team available at Atawhai Assisi owned and operated by Tamahere Eventide Home Trust. This requires flexibility to cover shifts over am, pm and nights.

• Work within the responsibilities and boundaries of own role.
• Perform person-centred tasks and functions in a health or wellbeing setting
• Recognise and report risks and /or changes in a resident.
• Communicate to support a person’s health or wellbeing.
• Recognise and respond to signs of vulnerability and abuse
• Demonstrate ethical and professional behaviour
• Provide person-centred care to maximise independence
• Dedicated team player
• Medication competency as per manager’s discretion

• No experience as a caregiver is required.
• Staff members should be capable of working under RN direction and demonstrate responsibility for their own learning and performance.
• Demonstration of appropriate skills, knowledge and experience, or the aptitude to learn through orientation and training.

• Experience and qualifications recognised with excellent rates
• Full orientation provided.
• Professional, friendly and supportive team environment.
