We currently have a full-time permanent vacancy at Millvale House Waikanae, working a minimum of 30 hours per week.
Hourly rates are as follows: $23.50 (Level 1), $24.06 (Level 2) $26.16 (Level 3), $28.25 (Level4)
You will:
>Assist in the delivery of culturally safe, effective, holistic personal care needs such as showering, dressing, eating, mobility and communication>contribute to planning the care of individuals and following therapy plans to assist those with dementia
>observe and report on residents progress and promptly report any change in residents’ condition or concerns about care
>ensure residents’ records are accurate, appropriate and up to date
provide support to registered nurses within their scope of practice.
Requirements for consideration:
>A genuine commitment to make a positive difference to the lives of elderly people by caringfor them with love and empathy>Ability to work any shift across a 24/7 roster
>A passion for working in the field of aged care
>Previous caregiving experience preferred
>Experience in dementia care would be a strong advantage
To qualify for visa support, the following additional requirements apply:
>A Registered Nursing degree, OR
>A Level 4 or above qualification directly relevant to caregiving, accompanied by an International Qualification Assessment (IQA),Our staff are valued, supported and cared for. You will be welcomed.
