Part-Time Retail Assistant / Kitchen Hand
Harbour Fish is a family-owned and operated seafood supplier. Our specialty seafood store and fish & chip takeaway in Invercargill (currently trading as Kings Fishmarket) is looking for a part-time staff member.
The job is customer-service based, working between our retail store selling fresh and frozen seafood, and our takeaway kitchen preparing fish and chip orders. Available shifts are Wednesday and Friday evenings, and Saturdays all day.
We are happy to provide full training but experience in a commercial kitchen environment or a fish and chip takeaway is a real advantage.
We are looking for someone who -- Has excellent customer service skills
- Has an interest in seafood and cooking
- Is physically fit (some heavy lifting is required)
- Is reliable and conscientious, with loads of common sense
- Enjoys working in a small, busy team
