We’re looking for an experienced Class 4 Delivery Driver for our Southland Hub based in Invercargill. This is a full time, permanent role, working Monday to Friday 8.00-5.00pm.

Reporting to our transport team and the Hub Manager, you'll deliver products to our shareholders and customers.

Your day to day includes:
  • Accurately collecting and delivering consignments for Farmlands.
  • Ensuring your load is safe, secure and compliant with all relevant New Zealand laws
  • Communicating with customers, internal stakeholders and service providers as instructed and/or required.

Mohou ake | About you

We’re looking for an experienced driver who can communicate effectively. You'll need to build strong working relationships in person and on the phone, both with customers and the Farmlands teams. Ideally you'll also be familiar with inventory, stock control and merchandising processes.

You'll need to have:
  • Heavy Traffic licences (Class 2 essential, and 4 preferred)
  • Competent level of computer literacy
  • Clean driving history
  • Strong Health and Safety knowledge and compliance within a transport environment
  • Good initiative and flexibility
Desirable:
  • F Endorsed Forklift licence & Dangerous Goods licences (or be willing to complete these upon starting the role)
  • Experience in a driving role within the rural, agricultural, or related sector
