-impact public sector environmentDrive system optimisation, innovation and data integrity within SAP and AribaEmpower teams through expert support, training, and process innovation Mō te tūnga | About the roleThe Team Leader Business Support leads the Department's Procure-to-Pay (P2P) operations, with a focus on SAP S/4HANA and SAP Ariba.

This role ensures procurement systems, data, and processes are accurate, efficient, and aligned with public sector best practice.You'll oversee purchasing, master data, training, helpdesk support, and system documentation, ensuring users are confident and well supported.

You'll also manage sourcing activities, supplier relationships, and contract maintenance, while driving continuous improvement and system optimisation.As a subject matter expert, you'll provide insights through data analysis, support information requests, and contribute to strategic procurement initiatives.

Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experienceExtensive experience in procurement operations, with deep knowledge of end-to-end P2P processes.Hands-on expertise in mapping procurement processes into tier-1 ERP systems, preferably SAP S/4HANA and Ariba.Proven leadership experience, with a track record of managing teams and driving performance.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret procurement data and deliver insights.Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills across varied audiences and contexts.

Ngā painga | The benefitsThe midpoint of the salary range is $147,765 per annum and the full range (85%-120%) is $125,601
  • $177,318 per annum.
Appointment and remuneration will reflect skills and experience relevant to the role.
