Fixed term until January 2026, part time 0.5fteRemuneration as per PSA Allied Health MECA guidelines Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is firmly grounded in the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and is committed to building a health system that serves all New Zealanders.The Opportunity:We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic Child & Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) team, based at 492 Great South Road, Otahuhu.In this senior role, you’ll bring your clinical expertise and leadership skills to support rangatahi (young people) and their whaanau (family) as they navigate a range of mental health challenges.

You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality, culturally responsive care with a strong focus on occupational engagement, recovery, and overall wellbeing.You’ll provide direct, person-centred clinical care while also guiding and mentoring junior clinicians and students.
Alongside managing your own clinical caseload, you’ll contribute to service development, quality improvement initiatives, and work closely with an interdisciplinary team to deliver holistic and collaborative care. Your work will be grounded in Te Tiriti o Waitangi and informed by principles of health equity, cultural safety, and best practice.We’re seeking someone who is confident, compassionate, and driven to make a real difference in the lives of young people.
