Occupational Therapist Part-time up to 0.7fteFixed term role for 5 months: 12/05/2025-30/09/2025 Allied Health Inpatient Team, North Shore Hospital- An exciting opportunity awaits: This position will give you the opportunity to provide quality early assessment, intervention, rehabilitation and discharge planning through a patient centred approach within an acute medical ward at North Shore Hospital.

About the Role
Whether you are a new graduate occupational therapist looking for a supportive, fun, entry level position, or an experienced therapist looking to dip their toes into an acute hospital setting, this could be the role for you!
In this staff grade OT role, you will be a part of a great team of experienced therapists, working together to provide a high standard of assessment, intervention, and discharge planning and coordination to a wide range of patients requiring acute hospital admission.You will be an instrumental part of our interdisciplinary team, collaborating and working with patients to achieve positive health outcomes.
About the Team/Service/ Location
Our team of acute occupational therapists works across a wide variety of inpatient wards, including (but not limited to) orthopaedics, surgical, general medical and ED/ADU. We are a close-knit team who are dedicated to providing a high standard of care to our Waitemata community.

About you
Our ideal candidate will:
- Be a registered Occupational Therapist with a current Annual Practicing Certificate
- Have a passion for inpatient, acute care
- Be committed to team work and fostering interdisciplinary collaboration
- Have an ability to be flexible and adaptable within a busy, fast-paced work environment
- Be eager and willing to learn
