Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated and creative Part-Time Marketing Specialist to help increase brand visibility, drive traffic, and generate leads through digital channels. You will work with the tight-knitted team to plan and execute campaigns, manage content, optimise our online presence, and ensure our messaging resonates with our audience (RV, caravan, marine, off-grid, and alternative energy appliances sectors).

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, execute, and monitor marketing campaigns across multiple platforms (digital, email, social media, Trademe, etc.)
  • Manage Mailchimp (or similar email marketing) campaigns: segmenting, content creation, performance analysis
  • SEO management: keyword research, on-page SEO, content optimisation to improve website ranking and organic traffic
  • Use platforms like Trademe, Facebook (and others relevant in NZ) to list, promote, and drive traffic to product pages
  • Content creation: write copy, assist with blog or social media content, ads, product listings
  • Photo/video editing: create or edit visuals for web, social, ads (including thumbnails, banners)
  • Utilise available AI tools for image generation, video editing, or content creation to improve output and efficiency
  • Track performance metrics (e.g. traffic, conversions, email open rates, campaign ROI) and report regularly to management
  • Track competitors’ marketing activities and create tailored marketing initiatives to enhance our brand visibility and competitiveness.

Skills & Experience Required
  • Prior experience in a marketing role (ideally digital marketing)
  • Solid experience with Mailchimp or similar email-marketing tools
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Competence in photo editing tools
  • Familiarity with Trademe (or NZ-based online marketplace platforms) and/or other e-commerce/marketplace listing tools
  • Working with AI tools for content creation (images, video, writing support)
  • Good understanding of SEO best practices and tools (eg. Google Analytics, Search Console, keyword tools)
  • Video editing skills a plus (even basic)
  • Good organisational skills, able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Creative thinker, good attention to detail.
